I own and operate Mt. Hermon Feed and people come in from time to time and ask if they can put a brochure in the window of items they have for sale or to give away or of something they want to buy.  One night in July, 2007 as I was trying to drift off to sleep, I began to think about printing a list of trading post items to give to my customers.  I couldn't get it out of my head and I couldn't sleep.  The more my thoughts wandered, the more that "trading post" grew!  The next morning I worked up the first Mt. Hermon Bulletin and on August 1, 2007 printed some and put it on my store website www.mthermonfeed.com.  In January, 2008 I gave the Bulletin its own website, www.mthermonbulletin.com.

There have been computer problems, printing problems, and problems getting information for the Bulletin, but I enjoy preparing each issue.

We hope the Bulletin will serve the Mt. Hermon area with information about church and school activities, local events, and items available for sale or to give away. The on-line edition is edited daily. Copies are printed on the first and fifteenth and are available at area businesses.  Send me your email address and I will send you a reminder on the first and fifteenth of each month to check out the latest edition.

What do you want the Bulletin to include?  I know what I want more of in the Bulletin. I want

  • news of births, marriages, anniversaries, church revivals
  • community club news
  • school club and sports news

Help me make this publication the best it can be!  We welcome suggestions, invite you to submit items for sale or to give away, and pray for commercial advertisers.

Call me, come by and see me, or email me.

Thanks!
